Ok ok ok... I know it's been a while, but I finally have it! Another rant!!! HA!

I'm sure people are curious as to the nature of my rant or what it is about, so allow me to pull the curtain and reviel what it is:

INAPPROPIATE CONTENT ON DEVIANTART

Yes, this seems to be a trend here that bugs me a lot... Throughout the entire time I've been on this site, I have seen multiple pictures depicting explicit material or sexual inferences, actions, or acts here on DA. What bugs me is that these people get away with putting up pornographic images by calling them "art". Now, I will not deny that these pictures are indeed "art", but they are "pornographic art".

Its one thing if someone makes a pic with sexual inferences in a jokingly cute way, such as in this picture: [link] (do forgive me san-renard for using one of your pictures as an example...), but it is another thing to do it and make it seem almost serious. There are hundreds and thousands of pictures here that are inappropiate. I believe that anyone who takes pictures that look like you can find them in Playboy Magazine should be taken off of this site for inappropiate content (which is entirely MY OPINION, no one elses). However, it SEEMS as if some of the people here are perverts (POSSIBLY, not truely, including some of the staff) and are more than willing to allow these pictures so they can jack off in the privacy of their own homes...

One thing I noticed on nurmerous profiles is that even if you comment in a respectful, logicial, and courteous way that does NOT match the opinion of the artist, they will insult you and call you an ignorant youth... Funny, huh? Also, they tend to put words in your mouth; for example, if you say that you think their work is erotically explicit or pornography in a respectful way, they will take is as you are insulting them or their work or that you said their work sucks... Now, did you ever say their work sucks? No... You were being nice and respectful and all they do is act like asses towards you.

Another thing I found funny is that the people who defend the porno artists are none other than people they photograph or some of the perverts who love to see nude women/men. Right... Somehow, I don't think a the people being photographed insulting me is gonna feel bad because uh, why would I be offended by a what they say? I mean, they are already sexually immoral and so on... Everyone and their mothers have seen them nude... Anything they can call me is better than what they really are...

And yes, I realize that this can be offensive and I honestly do not care... I tried being respectful, I really did, and all I got was someone insulting me back like an ass... Yep... For all I care, those type of people don't need to read this journal because you know what? I am entitled to MY opinion just like THEY are and I should not be judged or called names because of it; like I have. And if this offends you, you simply don't have to read it or comment, its that easy (just like if your pics offend us, we dont have to look at them, right?)!

So I tried to be respectful, I really did... And all I got was insults back...

P.S. According to people who are for pornographic art, religion is the main cause for us who disagree and that we are all ignorant and arrogant... I really get tired of hearing people acting like jerks... And why do they seriously need to continue something that obviously isn't important to them?
